Sponsorships and Endowments

The Joyce and Grant Beglarian Endowment Fund

Copland House’s endowment was initiated in 2001 to help ensure the long-term health and stability of Rock Hill and its programs. In 2003, this Board-designated revenue source was re-named the Joyce and Grant Beglarian Endowment Fund, in honor of two important, early champions of Copland House – the educator, composer, and visionary arts executive Grant Beglarian and his wife Joyce. Income from the Beglarian Fund helps to support all of Copland House’s award-winning activities in areas of musical creativity and performance, education, public programming, and historic and cultural preservation.

There are many ways to assist Copland House, and tax-deductible donations of any size are gratefully welcome. Leadership gifts may support a variety of programs and activities. Naming opportunities exist for individual and multiple composer residencies, our public and educational programs, live and recorded performances by Music from Copland House, the growth and maintenance of Copland House’s Library and Archives, and the ongoing care of Rock Hill and its grounds, among other operations.

Tax-deductible gifts may be made in cash, securities, mutual funds, bequests, charitable remainder trusts or gift annuities, or other financial instruments. Copland House’s staff will be very pleased to discuss these with any prospective donor, who should also seek independent financial counsel.

Copland House, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All contributions and gifts are tax deductible, as provided by law.
